Customizing this script without a full rewrite

Even using this script largely as-is, a few small swaps add real personalization without much extra work:

Replace the reflection section’s generic language with one specific detail. “Every ordinary Tuesday, every hard conversation, every inside joke” is intentionally universal — swapping in one real, specific detail about this couple (a shared routine, a specific inside joke, a hobby they built together) makes the same structure feel personal.

Adjust the declaration’s tone if it doesn’t fit. “Not because you have to, but because you want to” works well for a modern, reflective tone — a couple who wants something simpler might prefer a more traditional “Do you take…” phrasing instead, which drops in cleanly at the same point in the script.

Confirm ring-exchange wording matches whether both partners are exchanging rings. The script above assumes a mutual exchange — adjust the pronouns and structure if only one partner is receiving a ring.
